I am a communication student with a media focus at the university of Delaware. with a minor in global studies and an enthusiastic member of the world scholar program at UD, I have lived abroad in both Athens, Greece and Sydney, Australia. this site features some of the photography work I have completed during my time abroad and while traveling the east coast of the United States.
Through the world scholar program at University of Delaware, I was able to intern at a surf school on Bondi Beach: "let's go surfing."
one of the best parts of my job was doing lesson photography. this meant I got to be outside watching lessons and capture the group's first time standing on their boards. I loved watching the process and then seeing everyone's reactions to their photos.
one day the forecast was calling for 10 foot waves. all of the beginner lessons were cancelled, but my colleagues couldn't wait to get in the water. this was the day I started photographing my coworkers from lgs.
